Here's my take on the sticks
The stick is a pretty good performer. It is right in between a Sanwa and a Seimitsu stick. It is a nice stick with good action in 8 way mode. I'm not crazy about the restrictor plate, but each stick is engineered its own way.
The stick is not suitable in 4way mode at all (sorry). The corners are not well enough defined and it makes 4way games feel like you are playing it with an 8way (miss corners).
The feel of the stick is the same as a Ultimarc J-Stick (manuafactured by Sanwa) but it a bit tighter in the spring back to center than the traditional Sanwa. I found that in a heated match of Guilty Gear XX that I prefered the stick over the stock NOAMI stick (again Sanwa) because of the spring back to center tension. The switches are a bit clicky and you cannot swap them out. The balltop is swapable with Seimitsu, Sanwa, and Zippy balltops and the shafts are nearly identical. The fact that it comes with the wiring harness is a HUGE plus. A lesser quality harness is available from Himura games for $9. I took the joystick completely apart in hopes of figuring out a way to rig it to be a lit translucent as that would sell big +. Unfortunately I couldn't come up with a practical way to do it, With that said it far better than any other ball top japanese style stick priced under $20 USD and no too far from competing with the big boys IMHO.
