Would anyone happen to know if the Heavy Duty 8-Way Trigger Joystick a rotary joystick, or just a flight stick?
If it isn't is there a kit available to convert it to rotary?

It is simply an 8-way digital joystick with a trigger switch.

A rotary joy combined with a trigger grip would not be a good idea. It would feel awful funny when the stick was rotated so the trigger grip was pointing any direction other than straight up.

Hmmm, thanks...I don't think I'll bother adding one to my CP...I don't think see a need...a rotary joystick, though I think is a must...
