Spinner and trackball Problems

 Hello

  I'm having some problems with the Oscar spinner on my cabinet.
   The track ball works fine ( as a mouse ) and then i brought the oscar spinner
 usb and it will work one day, then the next day i start the pc and the spinner is not working again ( connected )
   
   Is there something i'm missing some where that is playing up with the computer software in detecting the 2 usb devices as detected as a mouse?

So the only way to get it to work again is to remove spinner reboot pc then close and connect the spinner again to the pc and reboot.  :(
