WTB: coin switch
« on: May 15, 2005, 09:25:01 am »
The coin door I got only came with one.  >:(  The door is a Coin Controls door and the one switch that I have says "Otehall England" (ignore the bent pins...that's how it was when I got it).

Thanks!

P.S. Here's a pic of the one switch that I do have...

Does it have to be that exact switch or would a regular coindoor switch work?  I know some of the parts on Coin Controls aren't interchangable with parts from other companies but I'd imagine microswitches are pretty universal.  I know MP2526 used to sell them for $2 each in his online store.  His store seems to be down now and it looks like he is working on building a new website.  You should try and send him an e-mail and ask if he has some for sale as that was a pretty darn good price for them.  I need some too and am going to send him an e-mail.

Don't know if this will work with your coin door, but last year, I found this place selling the Coin Switch with Wire Actuator for 2.99.  No minimum order.  I was only charged $3.50 shipping for 3 switches.

spiffyshoes  / ratabase: Thanks!  I'll probably end up going with Lakeside Distributors.
