Building own arcade with philips cd-i
« on: May 13, 2005, 05:38:30 am »
I would like to build my own arcade. I own an (old) Philips CD-i player with a lot of nice games (Dragon's Lair, Space Ace etc.) which i would like to use in this arcade.
I have one question :

Is it technically possible to convert the original philips gamepad controlling to an arcade control system (joystick and buttons) ???

 ???

It should be, just search for information about gamepad hacking, your CDi gamepads should work the same way.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I'm pretty sure there's nothing analog in a CDi pad, which would make hacking them a peice of cake.
