Grainy graphics
« on: May 11, 2005, 08:48:01 pm »
Hello all,
I am using an arcade vga card. I have to use hardware stretch at 640x280 on most games otherwise i get horizontal lines through them, and my monitor will make a funny high pitched noise. Well when I use hardware stretch everything looks good but the graphics are somewhat grainy and blocky especially on killer instinct. I have a Wells Gardner D9200 and arcade vga card. I use Mame32 since I can not figure out how to use advancemame. Is the grainy texture normal? What can I do?  ???

Did you get the D9200 patch from ultimarc?  Also, have you considered using command line mame and mamewah as a frontend?

You don't need AdvanceMAME if you have an Arcade VGA card.
You also DON'T need to set "monitor=arcade" in the MAME configuration.

NO MORE!!
