UK Retrokade to re-open in June
« on: May 09, 2005, 02:21:28 pm »
Great news for all UK BYOAC members

just seen on http://www.retrokade.com that they have new premises and should be opening again sometime in June.

I can't wait to go and play all those classic arcade machines

Sounds like a good idea to me. There seem to be enough of us on here to make it worthwhile.
I didn't touch it....honest!

I think the retrokade guy is a BYOAC member here under the name "Ravage"

I will pm him to ask him to advise on his plans to open and chances of a BYOAC meet

Both Retrokade AND Archer MacLean  will be bringing some machines to the Classic Gaming Expo UK - PLUS Twin Galaxies are challenging us Brits (and Europeans) to some high score challenges...

The whole thing takes place on August 13th - www.cgeuk.com

The new premises is in Portsmouth in Hampshire and should open in June.
Basically I'm MORE than happy to give you guys an outing, but elt me finalise some stuff first and tell you more on this thread in a few days.

Glad you guys want to support RKD - and yeah, we'll be at CGE too :)

Regards
Rav

PS now this might explain why I've been so slow on the old'artowrk contributions :)
