CP & screen glass thickness
« on: May 04, 2005, 06:17:29 am »
I am wondering what thicknesses of CP & screen acrylic glass people are using? I am thinking about using 3mm for the CP and 5-6mm for the top cocktail screen.

Thanks.
I love the life I lead. I wish I could afford it.

I purchased 1/8" lexan for the top of my CP, but I haven't started building yet.

What about for your upright monitor glass or cocktail tops?

I think the defacto standard for cocktail glass is 1/4" TEMPERED. Don't use untempered glass for a cocktail top. The majority of the time it WILL break and end up costing you more in the long run.
