MAME Build Power Point Presentation
« on: May 03, 2005, 06:30:48 pm »
As some of you may know I built my MAME cab as part of a college planning project, seeing as I needed an excuse to build one (yeah right!)  ;)

Anyway my Cab is now complete and tomorrow I have to give a powerpoint <*spit*> presentation on my project and cab build.

If anyone is interested and/or anyone is interested in hosting it I am more than willing to share it with the community.

Some of it may not make sense as I wont be able to give a commentry on it like I will have to tomorrow, but there are at least 40 pictures of my build on it which you guys may like to see or may help others planning on building a cab.

The file is .ppt obviously and weighs in at 31.5MB. If you are interested let me know and I will upload it (as long as I can find a host).

If you need that file hosted only, I will be happy to host it, but only if people want to look at it.  If you're interested, PM me and we'll set something up...

* cholin loves unlimited space, unlimited bandwidth ;D

Can you not save the presentation as a Web Page instead?  This would reduce the bandwidth and might make more sense than having people download a single 31 meg file that they would need a Powerpoint copy or viewer to see.  I've done it before for a few classes and it worked quite nicely.

Just a thought.

I gave a powerpoint presentation in my intro to computers class and sent it to a gmail account so others could critique it for me...

Yes.  It will break the presentation out into a new directory (and a single .html driver, if memory serves) on your PC and you'd upload that entire directory up to the web.  IMO, it makes much better use of bandwidth than a single, very large download and it much faster for the viewer.
