What cabinet have I bought?
« on: April 27, 2005, 10:28:51 am »
I'm going to pick this up on Saturday. It was advertised as an original Midway Total Carnage game in original Midway cabinet. It is not the same cabinet style as pictured on klov for Total Carnage.

Is it an alternate model original TC? A Conversion cab? Something else? Do any other games come in a cab like this? Also if it were yours what would you do with it?

This is the only pic I have for now. I can take more on the weekend.

Bad Dudes or Robocop. It has been hacked though, they chopped off the original panel and built a new panel box, unless there is some variant Data East cabinet that I am unaware of. Almost looks like they mated up a Williams panel.

Thanks Paigeoliver & NY.

I will investigate more once I gain possession. At least I know I can MAME it without guilt. I do like the shape.

No. I may not have known what it was, but I had a fair idea of what it wasn't before I bid. Also I suspect it was an honest mistake on the part of the seller.
