  • I want to build my own arcade controls!

I've got a bunch of old circuit boards for sale, but would rather you guys buy 'em than put them on ebay.  Make offers on the boards.  I'm also interested in trades, especially if anybody has an Oscar Controls v2 Spinner :)(list at bottom of this post).
Here's what I have (that I can identify):

1x Rally-X boardset.  If I remember correctly, this worked when pulled (was in a mini-cab that a friend converted to something else, not my choice tho :( ).  *SOLD to paigeoliver*
2x Konami KT-5207-IB/KT-5112-2B boardset (Timepilot, I have a cab for these too, but in pretty beat up shape, monitor is dead, and I have no time to fix it.  I had bought new sideart & marquee for it, but not sure if I can find it all now)  Both of these boardsets worked fine in the cabinet before the monitor went out
1x Konami GX-388 boardset (Time Pilot 84)  This was also compatibl with the TP cabinet above, and worked fine (with the exception of the regular TimePilot cab not having a 2nd fire button, required for TP84, NO I did NOT hack the TP control panel to add another button).
1x Wizard of Wor boardset (not 100% sure it's complete, no cage at any rate)  list of boards included follows:
          CPU Board
Memory board (some chips are missing, not sure if they were ever populated)
          3x Ram Cards
1 RGB Interface card (was told at the time they are almost impossible to find, ymmv tho)  *SOLD to dougmanct*
1x Midway Medium Power Supply 70VA (From a Bosconian, 99.9% sure of that)  Has some places it looks like have been heated, but fuses & parts all look ok.
2x Bosconian Filter PC boards.  Most likely good.
2x Atari Regulator/Audio 2 boards, not sure what they came out of (Tempest?)  Has connections at both end of the boards, and both ends of boards are fully populated.
1x Atari Regulator/Audio 2 board, no parts on one side.  Not sure what it came out of at all, only has 3 connection points, instead of the 5 on the boards above.
1x RGB Convertor board (labeled a DY-I-O, other markings 85X0311 P600.  I think this was to convert a Composite signal to a arcade monitor signal, has a BNC connector on one end, and a arcade monitor output on the other)

I also have a Centuri board I'd like to ID if anybody can help, I'm pretty sure it's a Phoenix (I hope so, I have a good condition Phoenix cocktail cab I'd like to rebuild, was one of my favorites), anybody got a picture of a Phoenix boardset they'd share?

There is one other board I have no idea what it is, build by Sun Electronics Corp, labeled a TVG-1-CPU-B & TVG-1-VIDEO-B.  Don't know what it came out of.  Condition looks excellent though.

I'll try to get pictures of all these boards later today, if I can arrange to borrow a digital camera, if not, I'll get ours from work and do it tomorrow night.

Bosconian Parts & Operating Manual (Spiral bound)
Mortal Kombat 1 Kit manuals (with some misc stuff in the packet)
Centipede Signature Analysis Guide, Operation Maint & Service manual, And both drawing sheets (schemetics) (I THINK this is the full booklet set for this game, seems to be complete)
Black Knight Pinball instruction Booklet
Super Cobra Schemetics
Stargate Instruction manual (Williams upright on the cover)
Bally/Midway's MCR System Games Standardized General Instructions (also has many monitor schemetics in it)
Timepilot Service manual, TimePilot 84' Conversion kit instruction manual & some other misc sheets (looks like there is also a Tutankamen booklet in that pack).  (These will be sold with the other boards &/Or cabinet)

Stuff I'm looking for:
Oscar Controls v2 Spinner
27" arcade monitor (yeah I know it's a stretch, but maybe we can make a deal :) ).
NOS 4" Wico joysticks, blue ball handle, 8 way  (alternately, Ultimarc T-Stick w/Blue handles, need 2)
Someone to design me a CPO, sideart & Marquee :) (I love Motorfish's design)
Anything else I need for my own home-built cabinet :).

The Sun board is probably Kangaroo.

I'll pay $20 shipped for Rally-X

Looks like the Rally-X boards are sold.  I'd much rather sell them here than on Ebay.

I am also willing to sell that TimePilot cab & boards as a set if anybody wants, and if I can find the sideart & marquee, I'll add them to it as well.  The cabinet has seen better days, but is mostly intact (the piece of wood under the marquee is missing, and would need to be replaced to attach the marquee to the cab).

Rally-X is definitely sold, I just sent the payment. (Now to start wiring up a Rally-X to JAMMA adaptor!!).

Someone should snag those Time Pilots, I would but I already have Time Pilot, Space Pilot, and Time Pilot '84 and thus don't need them.

Too bad I missed winning the bid on a dedicated (but converted) Wizard of Wor mini a few weeks ago, I would have bid higher if I knew some boards were gonna pop up.

I really wish I had kept all the cabs that I bought in the lot I did get.  I sold off a few of the bigger-ticket ones on ebay several years ago (a MS Pac Caberet which I wish I'd kept, a MS Pac cocktail, Tron upright and several others).  The only ones I kept were the Timepilot, a Bosconian upright (had 2, but sold one), a generic Jamma-wired Stern cabinet (someone converted a Super Cobra to jamma and stuck a Tiger Road board in it :( ), and another Stern machine into a Super Cobra, can't remember what it was tho..

That's all I kept from a lot of about 54-55 cabs...

Deal pending on the Time Pilot stuff.

I found a absolutely perfect NeoGeo Bust-A-Move Marquee.  Don't have my camera from work, but it's larger than a standard Marquee (23.5"x9.5") and has a space in it for the small NeoGeo paper for whatever game is in the unit.  This still has the backing paper on the back, and looks to have never been used (I bought it as NOS, test fitted it in my NeoGeo 4 slot cabinet, and pulled it out years ago, been in storage ever since).  If you like the Bust-A-Move series, and have a NeoGeo cabinet, would be a perfect, pristine marquee :).

Got my Rally-X board today. It LOOKS like it is missing a resistor at location D2 (but I have had plenty of boards that worked that were missing a resistor or 3). I wired up a JAMMA adaptor a few minutes ago and will be testing it when I get home from work in the morning.

If all goes well then I will be romswapping it to New Rally-X!

I know it was working when pulled, but you know how that goes, sitting on a shelf, then in a box for a couple years & through 2 house moves :).

Hmm...  Wonder if a Galaga Jamma harness would work with a Bosconian boardset?  Might have to try that myself...

2 Broken pins on an eprom, fixed that, have it playing with garbled graphics and an audio buzz now. Just have to figure out that missing resistor at D2.

Fixed the graphics glitch, still has a killer audio buzz, probably related to the missing resistor, which is in the audio section.

Great deal on this board, I am quite happy with it.

Glad to hear it :).  If I remember right, we might not have tested sound on the cab (I'm not sure if the little cab even had it's speaker in it, that was a long time ago).  I knew it worked though, since we played it a few times before we pulled it.

Got a picture of the Bust-A-Move SNK marquee.  Other stuff above is still available.
