WTB Neo Geo stuff
« on: April 24, 2005, 10:24:50 am »
I won a 1-slot MVS cab at an auction yesterday and when I got it home I found out it had the MVH-1B board.  This board has known compatability issues with a bunch of games, including the one that came in the cabinet.  I'm looking for a replacement PCB as well as carts.

Post 'em if you got 'em.

Have nothing to sell, but you might want to check the For Sale section at neo-geo.com:

I've got a few carts, I'll dig through my PCB box and pull them out tonight.  I'll edit this post when I get a change :).

*edit* OK, I dug through my boxes, and only found 2.  Fatal Fury & Sengoku.  I know they both USED to work, but can't say absolutely they will (don't have a NeoGeo board I can test them on anymore).

If you want 'em, you can have 'em,  just pay UPS shipping from 28601 zip code, figure about 2-3 pounds.

PM Sent.  I really want a multi slot motherboard!  Anybody?  Nobody on Neo-Geo.com has any motherboards for sale.

What compatibility issues does that one have? I know there are 2 versions of it, one with the joystick bios and one with the trackball bios, but if your joysticks work then that means you have a normal one. I have one of the Trackball bios ones.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Pretty sure there's a 6-slot on ePay right now ... and there are usually a couple of 4-slots ...

From what I understand the MVH-1B's BIOS makes the controls totally freak out on some games but it's fine on other games.  For example, it's fine with Metal Slug X but freaks out with Bust A Move.
