LS-30 sticks loose. any suggestions on springs?

I just acquired a pair of ls-30 joysticks. They're a tad loose (it looks like the springs are worn out). Any suggestions on sources for springs? I don't need NOS, just any set of springs that will work to tighten up the feel of the springs.

I have some 16 ga full hard stainless steel wire. I'm going to spool my own springs one of these days. I have the same problem

I'll check home depot this weekend. there has to be a spring out there that can be cut and retrofitted.
