Speaker Screen Cover
« on: April 22, 2005, 01:26:28 pm »
I am finishing up my cab and I'm ready to cover the speaker holes at the top of my UAII. I am looking for the metal speaker cover that cover the entire width and length of the speaker mount. I have seen them on a lot of the arcade cabs I have looked at in the arcade but I can't find them anywhere. This is just a thin metal plate with holes drilled in it, Im sure you know what it looks like. Anyone know where I can find something like that?

I looked everywhere for this item too.  I ended up buying a plastic gutter cover at Home Depot for 99 cents and spraying it black

It sounds like you want to fab some kind of custom piece, i think.  Are you thinking of something like this?

I would think most hardware stores would carry similar materials.

However, if your looking for pre-made, generic (not in a bad way  ;)) speaker covers, try Radio Shack.
