oh and what portion of the xbox is the photo showing. if you didn't take it, then why believe it? why believe you anyway? i'll be the first to see it when we get the M$ demo packs and the reps come...we're the first to see before anyone...

Its a real pic off that new whateveryoucallit reality game for xbox360.LIke the halo campaign.What it is however isnt known.It may just be an addon or something.

I'm just messing around. I'm sure it IS authentic. It's obviously Microsoft running the ourcolony.net website. It is definitely a picture of Xbox 2 or an Xbox 2 peripheral.

What do you do for the videogame industry caffinefiend? Whatever it is you seem to take a lot of pride in it. I would imagine that there are focus groups, hardware developers, game developers, upper-level people at game publishing firms and journalists from major game publications that will all get handson time with Xbox 2 before me. What do you do for a living?

I was hoping to drag this out a lot longer. And WRXs are fun cars to drive, especially the 300hp version.

The dev machines are just Apple G5's with dual processors, 512 MB or RAM and an ATI X800 based videocard. They sport the usual aluminum mesh case that all G5's have.

Pretty comical for a Microsoft Product to be made with development machines running a Mac OS.

I think that might be the real thing. The picture up top could be the black part that sticks out on the left side of that last photo. And there are some fairly reliable sources confiming that last pic.

No way. It would be an automatic failure. They'll have two versions. One will be a $300 barebones version that will play all the games, the other will be a $400 version that will include WebTV and probably media center capabilities.

so i will not be purchasing the next xbox

You work at a store. You don't make, publish or do anything with games save for ringing them up at the register. You're not as important to the video game industry as you think.
