Difference between GPWiz49 Eco/MAX
« on: April 21, 2005, 09:57:09 am »
The only difference is the Eco one has holes to solder wires into (solder)/40-pin header (no-solder) and the MAX has the screw terminals, right?

They are both functionally the same (same speed, same code rev, etc), right?

right

and in the event of any major future developments (which is highly unlikely at this point)
you can upgrade more easily on the MAX

Also, I think there's a money-back guarantee on the non-solder versions of the boards, but not on the solder ones, but that may have just been an introductory thing.

I believe that Randy has also stated that only MAX version can receive firmware updates also... so if thats imortant to ya..... OTOH, there may not be any more firmware updates in the neat future.
