I was wondering if you guys would be able to sell me a bunch of random marquees you have laying around for cheap?

If you have anything you'd think Id like, by manufacturer...
to name a few... just a few

but im affraid i cant pay too much for them... because of the vass quantitys that i demand, but I can negociate... ^.<

Check out localarcade.com for stuff in the next month or so. I'll be submitting some of the things on your list (i.e. TMNT). You may want to wait, save some money, and print them out yourself. Actually for what some people sell stuff on this board and on eBay, it's almost cheaper to buy here and there sometimes...I purchased a set of 5 marquees on eBay for $0.01 once plus $10 shipping...

A friend of mine has a big stack for $5 each. I know there is a TMNT and a Street Fighter in it. Maybe some others on your list. If you are interested, let me know, I can get them this Thursday at our monthly gameroom club meeting.

Oh, he also has an MK in it, which I was thinking about picking up anyway.

I will have him bring them this Thursday if you want them. You will have to pay me up front though. The TMNT and the MK are both thin plastic underlay types. They could be rolled up and shipped very cheaply. The SF was painted plexi, so it would be more to ship.

The SF wasn't the standard SFII CE that I see. I think it might have been SF (not SF 2?) I seem to remember it having pictures of the characters on it. I'm not sure if you are interested in that or not.

Anyway, let me know which ones you will want (again... I can ship the MK and TMNT for very little, the SF will make it more), and we can work out a price. Like I said, they are all $5 each but the shipping will be a few bucks.

I don't think I can get a list, as he probably won't want to bring all of them to the meeting thursday, and even if he does I'd have to post a list and then find out which ones you want, then get them from him later, so that wouldn't work. He lives a distance away so if we are going to get some, we need to have him bring them this Thursday as I won't see him again for awhile (a month, or more).

I looked on KLOV at all the SF and SF2 Marquees but I didn't see one like it. You'll just have to take a gamble on if you like it or not, I guess. All I can remember is it was some type of SF marquee and I think it had some of the characters on it. It looked more like a SF2 generation marquee, not a really basic cartoon like the original SF marquees, and not as detailed or realistic as the later SF3 type of games. That's all I can tell you.

MOST of the marquees were generic games that I had never even heard of. I happened to remember these because they were games that I'd actually HEARD of before.

BTW, I know there wasn't a T2 in there, I'd have remembered that.

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful or descriptive. If he doesn't mind, I might have him bring them all and then I can just pay him for what I sell later, but I don't want to be pushy or take advantage of him or anything. So it will be best if you want any, let me know that in advance and we will work something out.

If he doesn't want it , I'd be interested. I'm putting a TMNT together for my local arcade and I need a marquee. Is it at least usable?

Eeeehhh... I wouldn't use it.

Plus, just as a matter of principal, I'd feel wierd giving away something that I know someone else is going to get commercial use out of. I don't feel wierd about giving stuff away for personal use, though.

Either way, though, I'd never charge money for this piece of junk. I'd either give it away or not.
