My eyes are burning from looking through the search results.  What is the side length (and front/back if different) of a 3" Betson Imperial trackball?

5-3/4" each direction at the widest parts, not diagonal, just North-south & east-west in the pic you posted.  So if you drew a big plus-sign (+) centered over the trackball, each line that makes up the plus-sign would measure 5-3/4"
