Coin Door Credits
« on: April 18, 2005, 10:18:57 pm »
Is there any way of wiring the coin door so that one inserted coin will activate a button on the control panel which must be pushed to start the game, such as is the case with most arcade machines, instead of the inserted coin starting the game by itself?

Yeah, that's the difference between the inputs called "START" and "COIN" :P  You wire the doors to coin and the button to start.

yes 1 or 2 keyboard comands will launch the game representing 1p and 2 player and 5 and 6 are 1 player and two player credits. what have you wired your coin doors up to command wise? 1 and 5?

hope that makes sense.

I want to wire a 4 player control panel. Does MAME have insert and player keyboard commands for this also?
