pc amp sound quality

is there a quality difference b/t pc speaker amps and an amp used for stereos, like the radio shack sa-155? thanks.

Very much so. A good hifi amp will give you much more detailed sound. Don't forget though that speakers are equally important. Which one you should buy of course depends on your budget. Since you're talking about Radio Shack I can only assume it's tight. The route I took is to use an old mid sized stereo from Aiwa and I'm much happier with it than I was with amplified PC speakers. You should be able to pick one up fairly cheaply.
