You don't have any balltops that will fit Supers do you? I know GGG makes them but they look too long for use with a metal CP.

I just got some of the red translucent balltops from GGG and you can adjust the legnth of the stick somewhat. It's adjustible by using the heavy e-clips. I can snap a pic or measure for you if you want. Sorry just read about the metal CP. Yeah they are gigantinormous on metal.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I really need a set of red ball tops that fit supers, but everything seems to be geared toward thick wood CPs. Where's the love for the metalheads? ;)

Fitting the Wico handles into Supers is doable... you need to be able to grind off some of the metal though...

I should have more colors on Monday.

Any hint as to the availability of what you have and what you'll get?  IOW: If I wait until Monday will I get screwed out of getting any of those that are currently available?

Also:  Is shipping included on these prices and, if not, could you ballpark the additional cost?

Thanks

Waiting until Monday is no problem.  The price is $8.00 or $8.50 depending on which stick plus shipping.  The shipping charges depend on how many sticks you want.

Is the ball on the 4" red smaller than the other balltops on the 3.5" shafts?  It appears so in the pic.

Can you elaborate on that Ray? Never seen that done before.

I have details about the modification to the shaft here: (july 12, 2004 posting) http://www.retrofx.com/rayb_arcade.html

and also here: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?board=1%3baction=display%3bthreadid=20914

The shafts are SLIGHTLY loose in a Super base. Nothing a bit of tape can't fix.

Ponyboy, are there any discounts available if you buy more than one?

With regards to the dustwasher query, I would assume that the perfect 360 dustwashers would fit (Happ ref: 50-0341-00).

I used the P360 dustwashers when I installed 4" Wico handles on my P360s (the ones I have are identical to the shorter ones, just longer, the 4" ones Ponyboy has are different), and it seems just fine to me.

I don't think your too picky, that space would feel sloppy when you were moving.  I like the looks of that custom washer, if whammoed still has some I would buy 2 if ponyboy doesn't get them in.

Do you know what length your wicos are spiffyshoes?  Did you have any trouble getting them to fit well in a 3/4 panel with your p360's?

Yes, that first photo doesn't bother me, one of the few areas I am not picky about. I'm happy if both dust washers are present and matching.

I have one of the 4" wico ball top handles.  You could mount it under 3/4" of wood but It would feel short.  I'd recomend mounting it under just a 1/2" of wood.  Or you could get the 3.5" handle and a mounting plate from bob roberts, and then top mount your joystick.

4" under wood on a 3/4" panel was standard for games with wooden panels back in the day. I have actually played plenty of machines that had 3.5" ones under 3/4" wooden panels (those were a bit stubby, but still playable).

My panel has the joystick spots routed out a bit underneath and the 4" ones almost seem too tall, at least compared to my other machines.

Are the measurements (3.5" and 4") made from the base of the shaft to the point it intersects with the balltop?

The pear-top microswitch Wicos had the double e-clip groove just like the ones Ponyboy is selling.  You also need a spacer or two on top to make up the difference in height- They're exactly like the spacers from a Happ P360, and come in two sizes.

As for whether or not they're original, I've never seen one quite like that, but then I've never seen a lot of things.

So the blue's don't come in 4" with the larger ball like the 3.5" sticks?  What are the measurements to the top of the shaft and the total length including the balltop?  I need to make sure these will fit well in my panel.

Thanks

Ponyboy,

Could you please post a pic of the yellow and powder blue sticks as well. I have a Bubbles/Multi-Williams project that might need 2 of the powder blue handles. Just want to check the color first.

at you earliest convenience of course...

Thanks!
