WTB - XRGB2
« on: April 14, 2005, 06:40:59 pm »
Topic title says it all, I want a Micomsoft XRGB2

I do NOT want an XRGB2+ as I allready have one - the one I want is the earlier model which is the plain ol' XRGB2 although an XRGB 1st model may also be considered

Post on here or PM me if you gotz one you want to sell

cheers

It just stopped working one day.  No idea why.  The 31khz led lights up, and input led lights up with s-video or RGB input, but I just don't get any output.  If you think you can fix it, and want it, pm me an offer.

well, I'm having no luck finding the standard XRGB2 as yet, i s'pose with you being in the US you wont have utilised the 21 Pin japanese RGB connection so you wont know whether the input on that is working okay or not which is mainly what i need it for, my boardmaster has a 21 pin japanese RGB lead which should give me a really nice pic

Yes this it the one with the PCB switch, and yes I have used the 21pin scart connection on it for my Playstation2.  The input source lights up, but again I get no picture.  So unless this is something simple I'm missing, its not going to be worth much to you.   :-[

the PS scart leads and japanese 21 pin RGB leads are wired differently, i have been told if you stick a standard euro scart into the japanese 21 pin input socket without re-wiring the lead first can cause damage to the XRGB.

so yea if you'd allready re-wired the Scart lead and it still dont work then nope I dont think its gonna be much use to me  :'( shame cos i really want one of these badboys
