Best Place to Buy Old Arcade Games
« on: April 13, 2005, 03:22:48 pm »
Where is the best place to buy full arcade games?  Auctions, Online, Newspapers, what?

If auctions or online where is the best place to find out about the auctions?

There are a few cabinets in particular I am looking for, and have been unable to find.

I think there's a super auctions in St. Louis... Check out their site... I'm lazy though, so just google it...

EDIT: Just checked their site, they don't have any in the next few month, sorry...

EDIT: Yep, they have 'em, but probably not before July or so...

I like Craig's List and the Recycler.  Private parties often just want to get the cab out of their garage.  I picked up a mint condition Defender that just needed a fuse for $50 from  a Recycler listing.  I've seen great deals on Ebay too, but they are usually in another state and the shipping options are expensive.

In St. Louis it would be superauctions, the newspaper, and klov.com in that order.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I don't THINK the schedule is up yet, but the next St. Louis auction is in August, you just missed one last weekend.
