Lot of stuff for sale
« on: April 13, 2005, 12:48:10 pm »
Hello all,
I started a project a couple years ago, got it up and running but not finished, and then had to put things in storage because of a move.  I am now moving to California for work, and am looking to sell everything off.  Everything is located in Newark, NJ, and the buyer must pick up.  I am looking to unload it Thursday if possible, the sooner the better.  It has been awhile, but here is what I have.

Cabinet - the cabinet is plywood, and has a rough coat of black paint.  It is in good condition, and I had always meant to primer and paint it to give it a nice finished look.  This cabinet was made for me by someone who contacted me over this board a few years ago, I believe from standard plans available on the web.  I paid $500 for it.  I am looking for $250 obo.  The cabinet also has a marquee holder on it.

27" Monitor - I believe it is Eygo or Egyo or something like that.  It works fine, has the power cord, I've had no problems.  I would like $150 obo.

Monitor bezel for monitor.  It has been cut to fit the cabinet.

Slikstik quad controller - this was custom built with with buttons that are raised instead of dimpled, which I prefered.  The primary trackball buttons are not working, secondary ones work.  I believe it is a wiring issue, and I was never able to get support to get it fixed.  Also, 1 of the 2 pause buttons is not working.  Everything else had performed great.  I have confidence a person with a litte time and who has the knowledge or can do a little research can fix both of these problems easily.  I am asking $350 obo.

Lightgun - this is a USB lightgun that works with the monitor.  I'll throw this in with the monitor.

No computer is included.

Please email me at brijinder at alum.berkeley.edu if you are interested.  Thanks.

I just know the monitor is a 27". and is 640 x 480 resolution.  It is in the cabinet right now, but it not permanently attached.  It is in storage right now, and I live about 80 miles away.  I am also reducing the price on the monitor to $100....I looked around to ess how much they were selling for.

Everything is still for sale, and I wold be willing to discount to someone who would take everythign off my hands.

How much to ship the monitor to Omaha, NE 68112.  Or if you're close enough for pickup, that's good too.

quick notes.

The monitor isn't probably worth 150.   Or at least when you could still buy them they where cheaper then that.

The gun is worth about 100-200 (200 if you sold it before actlabs started reselling them... I don't know how low they got on ebay)

Yesterday I moved the machine to a friends place to store, and we hooked everything back up.  We were unable to get the monitor to work, so I am no longer selling it.  The machine had been sitting for about a year.  I still have everything else, all of which we were able to get to work fine.

I will now be selling the gun seperately.  Please let me know if you are interested.
