analog controlls problem

i play games using my trackball or other analog things such as a light gun type game at the devices center (guns) and the trackball acts like  its spinning but its not shwing any movement out of game whats going on?

Did you enable the mouse and are you sure MAME is fidning it? Check the ini file to make sure mouse is at 1.  Just a suggestion. I also had trouble finding a USB mouse in MAME but PS/2 worked flawlessly so switch if youre not using PS/2 already I guess.
