Golden Tee controls
« on: April 10, 2005, 09:37:38 pm »
Hi all,
I've searched the boards with no luck.  I have GT 2K running okay, but am only able to move the player to the left.  There should be a way to have him move to the right as well.

I checked the settings but when I change or confirm which button to assign for "rotate right", nothing happens.  I'm still not able to rotate the player to the right.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks guys!

Can you move the player to the right with the P1 Joystick?

Unforturnately not.  Moving the joystick changes the clubs, not the direction of the player... ???

I've got turn Left mapped to LEFT CONTROL and turn RIGHT mapped to LEFT ALT.  Works great.

On my main PC, it works by mapping Left ALT to player 1, button 2.  However on my cab, I now can get the player to turn right, but only while holding both buttons 2 & 4 (which are mapped to Left Shift & Right Shift) at the same time.  I tried mapping the P1 button 2 only to Right Shirt (which is what I need), but it just doesn't take my key presses.

This is strange, but at least it works... :)

Are you trying to remap the controls while the game is paused?  If so, try doing it without pausing the game.  The Shift/Ctrl/Alt keys seem to map funny when games are paused.

Without remapping controls the middle mouse button rotates right for me.

This was the problem.  As strange as it sounds, I was able to map the keys properly only while NOT on Pause.

Thanks again!
