Warped (???) Competition Joystick?!
« on: April 07, 2005, 10:54:21 pm »
Hey guys.. I just received my comp joysticks and installed thim in my CP..

The problem is.. is that if I look at the joystick from below, it seems to sit significantly more close to the bottom microswitch than it does to the top.. left and right seem to be about right.

In gameplay... I find that the down seems to 'accidentally' get switched quite a bit.

Has anyone encountered this?  And how did you go about fixing it?

The joystick seems to be mounted straight.. and it's very sturdy.

d.

My guess would be the spring may not be in right. Why not try dismantling the joystick and putting it back together carefully.

Just a guess...
