Yet another MameSpinner question.
« on: April 06, 2005, 09:44:52 am »
Greetings.  Long time lurker first time poster...
Has anyone used the newer (heavier) version of the Mamespinner?  I'm  considering putting a cabinet together and naturally $$  must be considered.
I'd really like to use an Oscar but in the interest of domestic tranquility I am open
to less expensive options provided that the performance is satisfactory.
TIA
Mike

Oops.  I forgot to include the BYO option in my first post.  I am open to this option as well.  I've got to check with a friend of mine who builds/rebuilds and repairs PC's.   I'm sure he's got a dead hd I could  cannibalize.  I've got a dead drive but it's the wrong type (no mounting flange on the bearing).  I may be able to fashon an adapter for it I suppose.....hmmmmm  maybe I'll give it a try.

I used the "Twisty Grip" spinner design to make my two spinner hacks....

I might have the PDF step-by-step directions at home.  If you are interested, then email me at emailAddrRemoved
