I saw this at Kmart over the weekend.

I saw that wireless Ms. Pac.  It was very cool, but really pricey (at least where I saw it... Target I think.. not sure tho)

It's amazing how quickly those 5 in 1 units are evolving. I wonder how long it will be before one appears that can run all the MAME games.

I notice that the joystick on the Ms Pac unit appears to be 4/8 way switchable!

I think those units are really cool but I do question whether it's a good idea to hack them.

Their charm is mainly their funky appearance plus the fact they are a compact all in one design.

If you hack them into arcade controls, add a PSU etc you're going to end up with something a lot bulkier and more expensive. Personally I'd prefer to go the extra mile and hack an old PC to run MAME on a TV.

(Nasdaq: JAKK) announced today that the Company has expanded the licensing agreement with Capcom(R) to develop and market TV Games(TM) GAMEKEY(TM) products based on Capcom's classic library of games, including "1942, Ghosts 'N Goblins"(TM), "Mega Man(R) 3," "Gun Smoke"(TM) and "Commando." JAKKS also adds new titles to the agreement to produce both TV Games controllers and GAMEKEY expansion packs, for titles including "Street Fighter(R) II: Championship Edition," the original genre-defining game, "Mega Man 2," "Mega Man 3," and many more.
