I have a VGA USB ActLabs light gun that Im thinking of throwing on
ebay.. I have no need for it.

But I do need a set of TV lightguns (or atleast one)

Anyone want to do a trade?

Act-labs just opened pre-orders for both kinds of guns again. I'd ebay yours RIGHT NOW and pre-order the ones you need.

I have a pair of the TV guns (one of which has never been used). I will trade you the brand new one for a working VGA unit. What kind of shape is it in?

Fixumdude: perfect shape... it has maybe a total of 1 to 1 1/2 hours of
play time on it.
I dont have the box, but I do have the gun and the driver CD that came w/it.

Sounds good to me. I do have the box for mine (My TV guns came in plain white boxes with a yellow sticker that says ACT LABS PC TV USB Light Gun) along with all the stuff.

How do you want to do the exchange?

Kremmit, I always thought that was some kind of weird pirate with an eye patch and a red bandanna...now I see the robot....thanks for the link!!!

I'm in the 'thought it was a pirate' group too. I love those little Tomy robots though, until one of the little toes breaks off and they cant stand or walk right

Oh, my, it's worse than I thought! Everybody thought it was a damn PIRATE?

I can see the pirate now that fixmdude has shown it to me- He kind of remindes me of the flaming-skull "Lost Souls" from Doom II.

I just updated my avatar file, he looks better to me, but how does he appear to you guys? I have a really nice, high-res version, but I'm no better at Photoshop than Robert Blake's prosecutors are at law, and I just can't seem to shrink it down and keep him clear.

I can definitely tell he's a robot, now. Although, after I saw what he was supposed to be, I was having trouble picturing the pirate

Now people are REALLY going to be confused!

If they fought on a ship or on the beach the skull pirates would win because the salt water would be hell on the robots' metal parts or the sand would get inside the gears and gum things up.

If they fought on a spaceship then the robots would win because the skull pirate would be slipping and sliding all over the place on those smooth metal floors!

Now if they fought on carpet...well if it was shag carpet then......wait, what were we talking about?

You don't know how relieved I am that I'm not the only one who thought it was a pirate.

I actually used my Firefox image zoom extension on it a while back and stared at it to see what it was. I eventually decided it was a little robot... but it took far to much work to decide that haha

I photoshop like a monkey. Somebody want to help me with a new avatar? What I'd really like to do is get some vid of the robot walking into an animated .gif, but I lack the software, knowlege, and talent. What I do have is a robot, a digital video camera, and a cable modem.
