He mistakenly calls it a 49 way.  In case anyone still needs one...or for parts

I have one of the ROUND knobs for one of these (the ones that came on the Wico version of this), I can't see from the picture if it would fit or not.

They aren't interchangeable- totally different mounting systems.

edit: the stick in that auction isn't a regular LS-30, or a Wico rotary, either- so I dunno WHAT kind of knob it takes.

That stick is an SNK/Seimitsu rotary found only in very early Ikari Warriors machines but it is the old style which was prone to failure due to its design. The stick was redesigned relatively quickly so only a few cabinets sneaked out of the plant with these hence their rather rare appearances on Ebay or anywhere for that matter. There just wasn't many of these produced to begin with so now almost 20 years later they're really scarce. I wouldn't want them anyway as they were discontinued for a reason. Ikari Warriors was the first game (1986) to use rotary sticks so most likely you won't find the first design LS-30's in any other rotary game. All the other rotary games used either the 2nd design LS-30's or the Data East/Wico rotarys depending on the game and its manufacturer. I'm almost positive that the 2nd generation LS-30 knobs will fit the 1st generation sticks (using either a 1/4" or 10mm nut) but I won't confirm this. If a BYOAC'er ends up getting this and their knob doesn't fit,I don't want to get yelled at ;D
