Viewsonic Pro series P810 monitors has a G H O S T...
« on: April 02, 2005, 08:56:09 am »
I picked up two VS P810 monitors from a computer show off lease. After using them for awhile, I have noticed that the one monitor has a "ghost". All images have a shadow behind and to the right of them (About 1 mm)

It might just be me being anal.

I have rerouted the cables. I have purchased new, quality cables to connect the vid card top the monitors.

I am running a GF4 ti4600 with only 128 MB Ram.

There is a 3 year warranty on these monitors. All I have to do is take them back to the computer show and exchange them.

#1: Is out of focus/ghosting something I should just get used to?
#2: Is it something that can be fixed by a tv shop?

is the ghost a different color or is it black or something?  Your convergence could be off causing one of the colors to be out of whack with the other two.--would need to see a pic to know for sure what are talking about.
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...
