What's this game worth?
« on: April 02, 2005, 07:55:02 am »
I got a guy that has a Defender cab (painted all black) that was converted to a Rastan. He wants $80 for it. Is this a fair price? Seems good to me, but I've yet to actually see the cab and its condition.

Just looking for professional opinions on it.

Thanks!

If its got a monitor, coin door etc then yeah I'd say its ok if it stands under its own power.
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

far as I know it's complete. Apparently the power cord needs to be replaced and it will work. though that sounds fishy to me. Is it so hard to replace a power cord? Why didn't he just do that?

hmm

Replacing a power cord is quite easy.  It's possible he hasn't done this because he simply doesn't care.  Hence he's selling it off.

$80 isn't too out of line for a solid, working cabinet with game.

IMO that's a great price if the cab is in decent shape (no structural dmg) and the monitor is working and has a minimum of burn-in.
