ball's eye view...
« on: April 01, 2005, 11:51:41 pm »
I was playing around with a new camera tonite, and I thought this shot looked kinda cool so I thought I would share...  I had the camera placed right in front of the flippers on my Creature pinball & I snapped it just when all the lights came on during the attract mode.  I might have to take some better shots and make a cool wallpaper soon.   :)

Heh, funny you should say that.  I showed that pic to my wife, but I didn't tell her what it was or that I took it.  Not realizing the scale of the pic, she said pretty much the same thing, "What is that, a casino or something?".  :)

It kinda looks like a club/bar with a pool in the back.

....except that you don't want to go for a dip in that pool, the Creature will get ya!!

Did you restore the playfield or is it still that good originally?

I am using that as the wallpaper on my laptop, my two bosses both saw it at the same time, the first one asked "where is that" and the second one actually figured out it was a pinball machine.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Hey i remember this pinball machine, and those pics have a real nice image quality so it makes it so nostalgiac. I dont know alot about pinball machines as i was pretty much glued to video games in the arcade but i did play this one and i liked it alot. Real nice pictures buddy!

Thanks, all, I'm glad you like the pic.  No, I didn't restore the playfield, that's how I got the game.  Basically all I did was wipe it down and waxed it.

The 1600x1200 version of the below pic is what I'm using for my desktop right now.  I made it a grayscale pic for my desktop so I could find my icons.  It was like playing Where's Waldo with my desktop icons before I made it a grayscale photo.
