FS: Galaxian Project in N. Dallas
« on: March 31, 2005, 07:20:17 pm »
I bought this cab with the intent of restoring it. I have too many arcade projects so I am goning have to let this go. Its a Macho Mouse that started its life as a Galaxian. The art was wrecked on the front and side so I removed it down to the wood. The right side still has the art but it was painted over. I havent tried to remove it. It comes with the Macho Mouse control panel, marquee, and pcb (I dont know if it works). It didnt have a coin door when I bought but I have since bought a Midway coin door that you can see in the picture. There is no monitor or back door. The cab is in great shape with no water damage. Like the title says I am in N. Dallas

$100

You try listing it on RGVAM?  Someone in the area might give you $5 or so for it.

Heck... I'd be willing to pick it up for $10.   ::)

(I actually would, but I wasn't going to disrespect your initial asking price with such a low-ball offer).

Hm...
Actually I'm using that money to fund some other projects. But I might actually bump my price up to $20 if the coindoor & CP come with it...  Come on... Don't make me go any higher...

I'm a newb, so I don't want to tear up anything decent until effort 3 or 4. I in your area, and I'll give you $30.

Dang it Chemixtry!  I keep looking at this but then I look in my garage at the tons of untouched cabinets  :-\.
Next I'll be on fries, and that's when the big money starts rolling in.

Just a little update for no reason.  Here is the former Macho Mouse....now a 3-in-1 Ms Pac/Galaga/Frogger.  I have the marquee designed, it just needs to be printed and I am going to replace the old T-molding with white pine roll trim (neat stuff!) to complete the "naked" look.
