Ultimate Arcade 2 Side panel advice

I'm getting ready to install the upper two side panels on my Ultimate Arcade 2 cab.  Anyone have any advice for what worked well or what didn't?  

Making sure that they line up exactly the same is going to be the biggest challange. 

I believe there are about eight screws on each side to attach the top sides and since I have laminate underneath on the bottom portion I was only going to screw them together rather than gluing it as well.  Do the screws do a good enough job of holding it together or do I need to bolt it?  Either way the screws or bolts will be countersunk and puttied over.

Screws worked well for me... in fact, I realized that the two were not aligned once I installed them, so I unscrewed one side and readjusted it... After screwing everything back in, it worked flawlessly...

You need two people for this part, they are not kidding.

I used 1/2 inch carriage bolts for my sides.  I will have to take it apart when I move to get it out of the basement so the carriage bolts worked best for me.

I just finished laminating the top panel on mine.

The recommended screws are MORE than ample to hold it together.

It becomes more or less one piece.

If you are worried about stability, I think your time is better spent putting in a rear panel.  That will get rid of some of the wobble I suspect?  Just guessing though, cuz I have not got that far yet.

I had been considering adding a back panel to keep the dust out of it and to make it look more finished (at least to me).  In order to get access to the PC I would need to hinge it and I wasn't sure I wanted to go to that much trouble.  I was also concerned then about airflow and thought I might need to add a small fan internally.

So, I figured I was just thinking too much about it and would leave it for now.

LOL.  I came to the same conclusion.  Except mine was out of laziness...  Maybe when everything else is done I will get to it?
