Can MAMEWAH do this?
« on: March 28, 2005, 11:11:32 pm »
I thought it could but messing around with it tonight now I'm not so sure.

When I was using AdvanceMenu, I could scroll to a game and a game sound 'preview' would play. Curious if that works in MAMEWAH.

As a sidenote, anywhere I could get some updated MAME game sounds (wav or mp3 format)?

Thanks,

-Jeff

Nope.  With MAMEWAH your only options for sound are background music (like the giant arcade.mp3 series) or movies per game.

Since MAMEWAH just uses DirectX filters to play media, i wonder if you could "trick" MAMEWAH into playing a sound file when it thinks it's using a movie file.

So, I guess, maybe it is possible :)
