w3.org Validation
« on: March 26, 2005, 04:53:25 pm »
The valid XHTML logo is displayed at the bottom of every page but I'm yet to see a page that validates...

Hm. The logo comes as part of the canned SMF package (the forum we run). Never even occured to me to look at it or to check it.

It's because of the quick menu. We added that, and I didn't convert it to 1.0 transitional yet. Basically, I was lazy, and never bothered to finish. I'll get to it sometime.

I'm not sure I see that as a burning priority :)

Is this a problem for anybody not being compliant? As I recall, the menu works in opera, IE 5, IE 6 and all mozilla. This is definitely at the bottom of the list for me.

I don't really have a prob with it. I was just being difficult.  The only reason i even mentioned it is you really aren't supposed to have the logo unless it validates.  I guess i really should have just bit my lip... you already knew about it.  Spend your time on more important things... that is  a fix for a boring day.  And i would hate to have a day that boring.
