FS: 2 360 wheels with Optics
« on: March 18, 2005, 06:42:06 pm »
Bought these for my mame but don't want them anymore.  Both work and were hooked up via an Opti Pac.  As you can see I painted them and bolted them to a board to hook up to my cabinet.  Worked great but I'm not into switching panels.  Looking for a local buyer so I don't have to dismantle and ship.  I have the neck of the third wheel but the actual wheel is broken.  I hooked up all the buttons on the center panel for gas, brake, p1, p2, etc.  Big center hole was going to be a beer holder eventually...

Sell the whole thang for 50.  Local means I'm in Sacramento.

Which side of the third do you have?  Is it just the wheel side that is missing or the gears and optic side?  Want to sell it, a pic would help?

If you find someone local that's great.  If not, I would like to buy the controls and have them shipped.  E-mail sent.

Got to pay me before I publish pics of my backside!  How much does it cost to ship this thing?  I would remove it from the mdf first.  Let me know exactly what you want pics of and I'll post em.  Price again is fifty plus shipping if somebody really wants them that bad.

Doh!

I meant pic of the backside of the third wheel. Assume you don't mind getting rid of that seperately.  I need a pic of the back and/or side of it because I think it will match mine, but want to make sure.

Here is a pic of the backside of the center wheel housing.  NOTE: I drilled holes in it for buttons and it does not have the optic board or gears.

i think 2600 wants a pic of the backside of the parts you showed for the thrid wheel, not the backside of the panel.  the one with the bearing in it.

2600, if this doesn't work Sacramento Amusements (www.sacramentoamusements.com) has them.  I bought a whole off road control panel with pedals for the 3 person cabinet CHEAP.  They have a bunch of these wheels.  They have a storage room with hundreds of controls, including a 720 stick that needed much work but was salvagable for someone with skills.  I bought these 3 a couple of years ago for something like 40 bucks each.

Has anybody ever dealt with armax?  Sent him the wheels and requested payment which I never got.  He posts alot and I figured all the regulars here were good for thier word.  Its been a couple of weeks and no response to email or personal messages.  Just wanted to get feedback from everyone before I take the next course of action...  Thanks

He PM'ed me wanting 2 Monroe Joysticks, but never replied again. Finally after 5 days, I passed them on to the next guys in line. I just assumed he didn't want them.

Hope something bad hasn't happened to him :-\

Take the next course of action.  If you don't mind my asking, why did you send first?

Sent it because the guy is a regular here and I thought all of us were here for the same reason and were for the most part honest folks with the same interests.  My bad.  I have bought some stuff here before and everything went good.  I give people too much respect regarding their word.

I understand.  I also would like to think the best of people, but I don't.  Anyway, I hope he'll chime in soon and good luck in retrieving your money.

you might want to do a call out to him, first by pm (even though i'm sure you've tried) and then post a dedicated thread with a non offensive, but discriptive title.  then when people converse with him, they'll ask him about it.  well, best of luck to you and i'm sorry the human race has failed again.

On March 18, I E-MAILED you (troutsplorer@aol.com) ONE HOUR before ARMAX posted.  I expressed very plainly my desire to purchase the wheels if you couldn't find anyone local.  I never even received a courtesy reply.  I assumed ARMAX was local, but evidently not if you shipped the wheels to him.  Was there some reason why you didn't want to sell the wheels to me even though I responded first???  I can assure you that I have always paid promptly for anything I have purchased on this board as those sellers here can attest.
