Free Monitors near Albany, NY
« on: March 18, 2005, 09:36:14 am »
From the post on RGVAC:

Quote
Pickup in Albany NY area 12118.  At least 15 assorted boxed chassis; at
least a dozen CRT/frame/chassis and CRT/frame/no chassis; 2 25 inch
monitors, I believe both have chassis; a box or 3 of loose monitor chassis,
a few BW monitor chassis and maybe a tube to use to test them; a partially
working SI Dlx monitor with a burned to ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- CRT.
I want this stuff picked up tommorrow 3/19 in the late morning/early
afternoon; dumpster fodder Monday.  I just got into a contract to work for a
'real' company and I wont be around during the week anymore for a while, and
may end up closing the warehouse, so both time and room are becoming issues.
(NOTE: no warehouse raiders please, there arent any games left :)

I *was* going to pick up the lot last week, but couldn't due to snow.

So if there's anyone in the immediate area that would like to split this load, let me know ASAP.  All I want is the 4600s.

I will take at least 1 25" frame and as many horizontal and vertical 19"and 13" frames as you have excess of if you're willing to quickly disassemble (usually 4 screws + 4 on the tube) and throw them in a box and ship UPS Ground (I can send you a prepaid UPS label to ship back to me and you just drop off at a grocery store that accepts UPS prepaid shipments or the UPS store).

I may be interested in some 13"-25" COLOR chassis that there is as long as they're looking complete. Also would like some yokes--at least 1 25" and a couple 19"/13" would work....

However I'm not there and cant get with you, and I definitely can't take the tubes...And I realize that is the limiting factor of you grabbing this all.

No, his limiting factor is being unable to pick them up.  It's not the tubes.
