Another lets play guess the cab.
« on: March 13, 2005, 10:36:45 pm »
Just picked this one up today from Knoxville.

Got it home, adjusted out the monitor, reseated the sound board and reset the power supply voltages.

When I was cleaning under the control panel, I saw that it's a conversion.
The original control panel has 2 large cutouts in it.

I've got a pretty good guess what it is, I just wanna see if anyone else thinks different from me.

That would be a Championship Sprint. It will be medium res unless they swapped the monitor.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Paige got it.

And yep, it has a 7000 series WG in it.
The conversion was pretty well done, the wiring was nice and neat.
Like I said, until I looked up the panel, I figured that it was a original cab.

(Now when I get the chance I need to replace the bottom 4 inches, particleboard and water don't mix kids.. ) :)

That is also the same cabinet used for Paperboy.  How can you tell which game it was originally (were the some fuse labels or other paperwork still attached inside the cabinet?)

The underside of the control panel has the 2 cutouts for the dual wheels.
