Looks like he does some good work.

Have a couple of questions.

Do you save enough going through him to offset the cost of shipping?
Are those panels painted or coated? (finish looks good)
How long did the fabrication take?

Getting machine work done locally here is pricey as hell.

The quality of the work appears top notch.

On a scale of 1 to 10 can you rate your satisfaction?

Thanks

I'm gonna keep the CP, I may have GameDork Revitalize it into "like new" condition.  If you want teh Marquee though, you can have it for free.  Just come and get it.

PM me if you really want it.

Hoagie- Thanks for the nice comments. It's funny you called it an appliance  finish, because that's exactly what it IS!! I work for a major cookware manufacturer and that's the finish we put on some of our parts.

Gozur- do you have something you need made? Shoot me a PM or email and let me know, I'll see if I can't get it made. The fab time in all only took about 8 or 9 hours total. It just took a a few days to get everything straight between Hoagie and I about different measurements and what not.

And as for price, I'm sure I can do it for alot cheaper than your local machine shop could do.

I make my own metal control panels so I know what kind of work goes into doing it right. Looks like you do very nice work there.

Ikari warriors is a dynamo cab like mine, so the same panel would work for both of us.

That picture you posted, is not set up like the original and it looks pretty sweet as it sits.

Why not use that one?  If you arent using it, would you consider selling it?

Thx,
-Dweebs

Ahhh, well that custom panel is exactly what I am looking for as well.

Hopefully Gamedork can produce two that look like that.

I'm gonna check with a metal shop as well.

whatzcrackn,
If you get your customized one made, I'd love to take the original Ikari one off your hands.

I sent Gamedork a regular email with a link to this thread.
(He replied to the mail on a private matter) so he is around, but I'm not sure if he's still doing custom work.

Later,
dabone

Hey guys, I'm still around but I will get to your PMs later tonight or tomorrow.

I may still be able to do some CPs, but need to get some stuff shipped out before I take on anything else.

Thanks guys
