Happ Competition Joysticks?
« on: November 05, 2002, 10:15:20 am »
Im currently making my parts list for my CP and dont know which joysticks to use. I want microswitch sticks, but dont know which to choose. Ultimate joysticks as i heard are not good, now what shall i go for? Competition or super joysticks?

And btw. are the convex competition pushbuttons from happ any better (or worse?) than the normal horizontal buttons.

very simple...super joysticks and horizontal buttons..

However competetion and ultimate joysticks both works as good as any joystick. Its how you mount it..gotta get the perfect height.I was always against ultimate joysticks because i only used them in the arcade and they dont know how to mount it right. So I bought couple of ultimates from someone here and built a small stick out of and plays great. However, nothing beats super joysticks :).
and nothing to decide about buttons..only horizontal buttons are cool 8).

I have both supers AND competitions, & I think the competitions are better if you want to "Feel" the corners.  I prefer them for Street Fighters, but its a personal thing.

p.s. DON'T buy the supers for their 4-way capabilites.  Bletch
