Video Poker on your MAME machine
« on: March 07, 2005, 04:01:57 pm »
The best casino software I have ever played is Reel Deal Casino.
I started a thread on their "Wish List" to have them patch their interface slightly, so that it would work with keyboard short cuts...thus....be usable by our community. If you post on the thread, you can show them that there is interest, and they can open their sales up to a whole new group of gamers.

Also, many of you could probably explain better, what it is that we would need to make their software usable by our hardware. I am thinking just keyboard inputs for hold1, hold2, hold3, hold4, hold5, and deal, and coin is already there.

The software can be used "as is" but only if you have a mouse macro recorder, with the keyboard strokes set as "triggers". Very cumbersom.

Phantom EFX ROCKS with their devotion to their fans.

If there is enough interest, I have no doubt that they will implement the patch.

It's just 5 keyboard shortcuts.  I think we would suprise them with our numbers once we started buying their game for our machines!

Yeah, that's why I eat real dots instead of playing PacMan. LOL

However, it never hurts to have your video poker or blackjack game sharp when you hit the real deal.

Plus you can do a pay out system like the bars around my house in the southside do. Nothing is more fun than an illegal gambeling operation! ;) Next step after that is PIMPIN, hell yeah!

I was at a casino just last Saturday. I played a little video poker. Best hand I got was a straight. Gave me something like $10. Lady beside me got a straight flush, on a 5 quarter bet. She won $5000!

I was at Casino Arizona sunday for the brunch buffet and played blackjack for a couple of hours. My wife won 350 bucks on video poker "Deuces Wild". Three aces, and 2 dueces...which makes 5 aces.

I only won $25. LOL

My mom lost $11 then cashed out right away.

I've added my post.

Anyone know if those UK Fruit Machine emulators have remappable keys?

JPeMulator uses keyboard shortcuts and has the ability to change the keys for each button, by right-clicking on a button, and changing the shortcut key. So yes, they are re-mappable for JPeMulator at least.
