Modchip I assume. Prolly a bigger HD aswell with lots of "legal" "homebrew" games on it.

Well it is modded with a 200GB Harddrive and nothing illegal in it. But as you all know you can add whatever you want to it.

No offense, but if you really wanna sell/trade this, you're gonna have to give people more info on it besides "modded xbox"

What version is it?

Is it a chip or TSOP?

What chip if it's a chip?

Anything wrong with it?

What's included?

All of that will have to be answered IMO before you get any offers, at least in my experience.

I really dont know what type of chip is installed in the Xbox cause i had this Xbox especially done. but i will try to find out and for any of you seriously interested here is some things I do know.

200 GB HardDrive

Applications include:

1. Config Magic - Allows you to lock/unlock your hard drive.
2. DVDX- Region free DVD player allows any region DVD and plays them without a playback kit.
3. DVD 2 Xbox- Copy your favorite movies, games, or media onto the hard drive.
4. HDD Loader- Make backups of your games onto the hard drive for safe keeping. (no more playing off the disk)
5. Xbox Media Center XBMC- Plays all media, stream music from internet, weather, xlink kai online gaming. and more.
6. Xbox FTP- Allows you to transfer files from one xbox to another with a system link cable.

This Xbox is in excellent condition and I am looking to get at least $350 pulse shipping expenses. I paid more then that for it. You might think this is to much but if you look in most places almost nobody has a 200GB harddrive installed ( That's A whole lot of room for A whole lot of things) and it also comes with A lot of extras. In my opinion this is one of the best XBoxs out there so it is way worth the price. But I know many people dont have that type of cash so that was why i first posted that i was looking to trade or sell in the Dallas area. was because I am really looking for a jamma cab does not have to be in great condition and does not have to have a game( I need something I can work with) or if you are not in the Dallas area if you have something game related like pcb's, neogeo mvs-- and/or cash let me know. I just decided to try this before posting it on Ebay.

That box is not worth 350.. sorry man. Especially if you don't even know what chip is in it. It could be a simple TSOP job with a new hard drive.. in which case it'd barely be worth 225.

You guys are right. That xbox that guy sold was nice real cool. It dosent really matter to me if i sell it or not because Im lucky both ways either sell it and get some money back or hook it up to a cab. and have the ultimate gameing system. Believe me its way better then using your computer for a gameing system. For those of you who are interested in more details about this xbox just email me and ill gladly tell you what is possible.

An X-Box is just a less capable computer, it isn't "way better" than a computer. All an X-Box consists of is a high end gaming computer in a proprietary format. And by "high end" I mean, "was high end 5 years ago".

For anyone looking to buy a modded xbox, that price isn't unreasonable. A used xbox goes for $120 at eb games, or $150 new. 200GB hardrive is $100-130. Modchip is $50 or $60. So to do it yourself, it would be $270-340. Might be worth it to save time, and lose the risk of destroying an xbox when you try to mod it.

Of course, this forum is all about BYO, so if you are up to it, start moddin'. If you do your own, get a bigger HD, they can fill up FAST!

But that is assuming he even has a chip in it. He hasn't even told us that much. I've gotten used Xboxes online for $80-100 bux with little trouble. TSOPs cost nothing to do. Add $100 for a 200gig HDD (you're overpaying if you're paying more than .50/gig), and you're good to go. That's $200 on the high end. Even if you got a chip, you could get a chip (depending on which one) for $25 or so... not the latest and greatest... but his seems to be at least a bit old.

And Sam.. I'm sure everyone would want more info on the box. Just post it here. I'm not knocking you.. I'm actually considering your xbox.. but I need more info.

I think i got somebody to trade with already but for those of you who were interested in knowing what type of chip i have in my Xbox it is the:

And i had several of my games in it including:

& Others

But ive sold most of the games on ebay already.

Hey playboy is not that bad of a game is kind of like the old version of sims.

I'm talking to someone about trading with him for the parts needed to make a whole arcade game. cab and all but if he changes his mind or can't get the parts it will be posted here again.

Look at my pool table post I have other stuff I'm selling in it.

I prefer to put it here then ebay so you all have first shots at it.
