nebie trackball question
« on: March 05, 2005, 10:49:36 am »
I just got my trackball(never owned one before) and when I really    crank on it for golden tee, there is a delay, then there is a response, and it shure does'nt hit the ball very hard. Is it simply sensitivity and speed settings? or should I have bought happs golden tee trackball rather than their 3" trackball? Also i'm playing around with it un-mounted if that makes a difference. Like I said, never owned one before, so i'm not shure about settings and performance. Thanks.

EDIT: nebie?, what the hell is a nebie?(newbie)

If the sensitivity setting under the analog controls option is set too high you may experience backspin problems when a trackball, spinner, etc. is moved too fast.

A higher sensitivity will allow more movement on screen for a smaller control movement but moving the controller too fast basically causes an overload and things won't work.

Decrease the sensitivity setting to the point that it works fine when you move the control as fast as you can and then everything else should be fine assuming there is nothing wrong with the trackball.  The 3" should work fine with Golden Tee.
