Or you use a normal translucent trackball and throw a few small LEDs in there.  In the end:  Whatever floats your boat -- its preference.

Man o man, I love that cabinet!!!  ;)

The guy who built that cab is a genius, and a close personal friend of mine (aw, who's kidding who, he's my best friend!).  He says to look on google for LED CANNON, and make sure you get an LED that matches the color of the ball (a white light on the blue ball makes it greenish).

So to recap: Happ with 3" translucent ball, and $5 LED CANNON.  Oh, and glue the LED holder to the bottom of the trackball, the sticky tape won't stand up.

Happy Gaming!

I saw something on here about somebody using the pieces of a cheap flashlight.  He took the reflector and the bulb out of one and glued it to the bottom hole of his trackball.  Seems cool.

Bob Roberts sells the little clips that screw into the bottom of the trackball.  That's what I use to light my 2 3" Happ trackballs up.  Works great.

nope same person same price. Must have forgot to send me my light.

You are right. I am wrong. I just remembered, I posted my purchase in buy sell trade.
I looked it up and I bought a cheaper one. sorry about that. here is who I bought from. I had bid many times on your track ball but never won the bid. I got confused.

Monitor tilt and big cutaways on the sides of the cab actually made that one perfectly viewable.  In fact, if I was ever to make a cab with such a ridiculously huge control panel, I'd copy that cabinet design.

Still, travesty? Seems mighty harsh, and would probably greatly offend the guy who did that cab.  Yep, wait I just checked with him and he thinks you're an --I'm attempting to get by the auto-censor and should be beaten after I re-read the rules--.

Cholin-

My 3-inch Happ trackball is lit using one superbright LED, one resistor, a piece of paint stir-stick, the reflector cone of a cheap flashlight, some hot glue, and the 5V supply from my IPAC.
