Search Function Request
« on: March 03, 2005, 04:08:37 pm »
I'll start out by saying I don't know if this is a firefox issue or not, don't have IE installed so can't verify.  I make heavy use of the search function before posting and the biggest annoyance is, after the search, if it wasn't something I was looking for, I can hit back and get the error of " post function...yada " can't remember exactly.....go to another topic....hit back again and nothing happens.  Just a pain to have to type in the seach function and look again.  Is this a limitation of the software or firefox, ie.....etc

In IE, if you hit a result then go Back, it is an error page too, and you must hit REFRESH, which gets the site to do the search again.
NO MORE!!

That works on most sites for me, but not here.  Here I get the "Did you forget to put something to search for?" message

In IE...

Or you could get a real browser (like FireFox) & use your middle mouse button & not have to worry about it...

Or, if you really want to use IE, hold down SHIFT while you click... It will open the link in another window.

I'm not a freak!...
Oh wait...
Yes I am...
