ArcadeVGA WinXP installation ??
« on: March 03, 2005, 03:22:41 pm »
See my previous thread for my problems.  After tonite if it comes down to having to reinstall XP.  What is the exact proper procedure for doing it, step by step.....install card, then xp, vice versa and so on and does anyone know the proper keypresses to get windows to install, I am under the assumption that half the screen will be missing initially till drivers are installed...

Set your bios to boot from cd rom, than with winxp cd drive boot computer.

To install AVGA ,first install card ,after boot when windows says it needs to install drivers cancel that.Than install drivers from ultimarc website not the one on CD.Hope this helps.

Should be fine to have the arcade monitor hooked up,but you may not be able to read your bios.
