Price Check: MVS-4-25 (ver. 3)

I'm thinking about getting a Neo-Geo 4-slot like the one pictured and was wondering what you guys think I should pay?  Assume it works, is in decent shape, and that it has some marginal games included (nothing too new).

Thanks much.
Todd

$400 on the low end, $600 on the high end. $400 is poor condition with 4 cheapo carts, $600 is great condition with 4 cheapo carts. Adjust price upward if carts are worth more than $15 each.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

All controls work great

World Heroes
Super Sidekick 2

On a strictly personal level..  I always felt Neogeo made an ugly cabinet.  And that their multi-game cabinets were as bad for arcades as nintendo's play choice cabs.

Also.. again a personal opinion, NeoGeo games all looked the same to me and seemed subpar when compared to the other titles out at the same time.

p.s.  sorry for not adding anything to this thread.

OMFGz0rz! You're NUTZ!  NOEGEO IS T3H BEZTTZ0RZ!!

Naw really I do love the Neo, but I have to agree that for arcades (specifically) they were a bad idea.  The machines were slightly expensive, but while it could have 1 to 6 UBER awesome games like Pulstar, King of Fighters 98, etc... Only two people could play ONE game at a time, so other arcade-goers would have to wait to play their desired game.

But if we're talking 'for the home arcade' usage, oh man.. Neo 6 Slot cabs are tha shiznit.  You really don't need anything more than a 4 slot, but still, they are awesome 'have in the home' cabs.
